Q: Now, that the season is finished, which assessment do draw some you?

If i look back on my 2008 season i am not totally satisfied. I had some good wins at UCI races, but the at the most important races i had bad luck. Did some podiums on the Nissan world cups, but my goal was to win a world cup. I was close in Schladming and Fort William but no luck. But this gives me some extra motivation to train hard during winter and come back even stronger next year!!
Q: What will you make during this inter season?
- Now the season is finished i will take a rest for 4 weeks. In the mean time i am going to get married with my girlfriend on the 2nd of October 2008.
After our honeymoon i will go back to training at the Olympic training centre in the Netherlands. During winter i also will do some shooting in South Africa with Nike ACG for their Sweetspot website: http://www.nike.com/nikeacg
Q : Cette année tu as porté la marque Bollé , quel bilan tires tu de cette expérience?
- Thanks to Bolle i did not have to worrie about my goggles. I had plenty of lences for every race. What i liked the most with Bolle is that you are standing out from the majority of racers who are wearing Oakley or Adidas. It s so nice to work with a brand who wants to get bigger in the MTB sport!
